Frederick Douglass, the author of this axiom, was all too familiar with the unrelenting brutality of a system that covets profits before all else. What can we take from his truism and how may we apply it in Central Ohio, especially in the wake of the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor?

Join Move to Amend Central Ohio for background on Frederick Douglass’s struggles with a greed-based system during the 19th century and its connections to our current struggles with corporate power.

This on-line community gathering will feature a 20-minute presentation by Dr. Sandy Bolzenius followed by a question-and-answer period and then open discussion. Local groups also demanding justice are welcome to post announcements.
