Friday, August 18, 7:30-9pm, First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd.

With guitar and piano, Bill will sing a mix of humorous and serious songs about different aspects of death: inevitability, loss, acceptance, memories, and even organ donation.

Song list clues: Pete Seeger, Tom Dooley, Sweet Chariot, Phil Ochs, Danny Boy, John Prine, Satchmo, and Teen Angel.

Also: inspiring quotes about how, once we accept that we will all someday die, we can feel free to live our lives more fully.

Free admission but donations will be gratefully accepted.

Bill will be splitting the proceeds with the Funeral Consumers Alliance of Central Ohio that encourages people to plan their funerals in advance so that those funerals will be more affordable and so that people will not be subject to financial manipulation in a time of sorrow.
