The City of Columbus takes great pride in its observance of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Martin Luther King Breakfast Committee, Inc. invites the public to the Columbus signature King Holiday event attended by thousands of diverse supporters and the largest event of its kind in the United States honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Join us at the flagship event on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the national holiday commemorating Dr. King, the fallen civil rights leader.

Tickets will be sold in advance and will not be available at the door.

Keynote speaker: John B. King, Jr., former Secretary of Education Under President Barack Obama. An inspiring educational leader and advocate, King’s own story is proof of the transformative power of education. He shares a passionate message about access to opportunity and America’s future.

The doors will open at 7am; the program will begin at 7:30am, the program will adjourn at 10am.
