We will be recognizing three outstanding human rights advocates who will share their stories and missions.

• Esther Flores [1DivineLine2Health]: Esther is a public health nurse whose work is helping people in Columbus who lack access to health care, victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, and other injustices.

• Dureti Mimi Tadesse [CG Women’s Empowerment (CGWE - Africa)]: Dureti and her husband Daniel have lived in Columbus for more than two decades after arriving as refugees and survivors of torture, imprisonment, and the threat of execution under the then-communist government of Ethiopia. Today, they help refugees settle in Columbus and empower women to thrive in their home region of Oromia, Ethiopia.

• Bill Pelke [Founder of Journey of Hope . . .
