Join the City of Columbus and United Way of Central Ohio for the Ninth Annual Neighborhood Best Practices Conference, “where neighborhoods come and share best practices in building healthy communities.”

The keynote address, “Will You Be My Neighbor? Building Bridges Across Communities,” will be presented by inspirational speaker, children’s advocate, former foster youth, and professional international model MelRo [Melissa Roshan].

MelRo is an inspirational speaker, a children’s advocate, a former foster youth, and a professional international model. MelRo is a powerful force to be reckoned with. Her keen ability to move, inspire, and shift audiences from all walks of life has allowed her message to be delivered, for over a decade, and to carry on that message internationally.

From high schools, women’s prisons, and foster agencies, to corporate America, MelRo’s message of hope, resilience, and rising from adversity, has left unforgettable impressions on all who she has come across.
