Wednesday, July 18, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Ohio History Center, 800 E. 17th Ave.

One of the themes in the exhibit, “Poindexter Village: A Portrait in Stories,” is all about restoration. In October 2017, the Ohio History Connection officially acquired the two remaining buildings of the housing complex, in partnership with the James Preston Poindexter Foundation, with the end goal of creating a museum and community space.

During this panel discussion, we will talk about the physical restoration of those buildings, explore the process leading up to preserving the two structures, and share thoughts about what the project will be, moving forward.
