This month’s program: “The Hunt for Other Worlds and Life in the Universe”

This month, our speaker will be Scott Gaudi, the Thomas Jefferson Professor for Discovery and Space Exploration at The Ohio State University Department of Astronomy. He’ll be presenting “The Hunt for Other Worlds and Life in the Universe.”

This month is also a very special month for HCCO. We will be celebrating HCCO’s 40th birthday! We’ll have some birthday treats for everyone to enjoy.

Join us at 11:30am for free fruit, bagels, pastries, and coffee in the meeting room; the formal program will begin at 12noon.

There are 2-hour and 3-hour parking meters for 75 cents an hour on Gay St., Third St., Long St., and Spring St. Note: don’t use the green parking meters on Gay St. They are $1 for only a half-hour. There is also a parking lot at the northwest corner of N. Third St. and E. Long St. for $5.

Note: This meeting location is not accessible for wheelchair users or for others who have limited mobility. There are three steps up from the sidewalk to the entrance door and there are four steps up from the entrance door to the lobby.
