Monday, June 6, 6-7:30pm, Driving Park Branch Library, 1422 E. Livingston Ave.
Monday, June 6 will mark the six-month anniversary of the emerging non-profit, State Of The Community. Once each month at the Driving Park Branch Library, central Ohio residents, city and state leaders, non-profit organizations, community professionals, activists, Columbus City Schools professionals, law enforcement, faith-based communities, and leading thinkers come together to discuss central Ohio’s current issues and solutions.
We will be discussing the following:
• What are the community needs across central Ohio?
• What would you like to see in our neighborhoods?
• How can the community create opportunities?
• How can we prevent violence in our neighborhoods?
• How do you feel the media impacts our community?
• What are ways that we can work together to revitalize our community?
• Discuss: available youth and summer programs
Please join us on June 6 for this important community discussion.
Sponsored by State of the Community, a recently-created non-profit organization.
