Today’s program: a screening of “Hiroshima: BBC History of World War II” (89 minutes)

Covering a three-week period from the New Mexico test blast to dropping the bomb on Hiroshima, this program chronicles America’s political gamble and the planning for that momentous event. Archival film, dramatizations, and special effects take viewers aboard the Enola Gay and inside the exploding bomb.
