Saturday, June 27, 2pm, Goodale Park, 120 W. Goodale St.

Join us as we march in support and solidarity of Black Lives Matter! This march is open to any and all Social Workers and supporters.

The murders of George Floyd, Tamir Rice, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, Michael Brown, and countless others show the pandemic happening in our country related to the brutal killing of unarmed black men, women, and children by police officers. As social workers, we are called to promote social justice and, as advocates, use our voices to speak out against injustice. We must be agents of change and our hope is that we can continue to promote critical dialogues and acknowledge the adverse impacts that systemic racism has on the black community.

So please join us on Saturday, June 27 at 2pm! We will start the march at 3pm from Goodale Park to the Statehouse.

Please come with masks and do your best to engage in social distancing recommendations.

Hosted by Kayla Emiliana Ratcliff, Lauren McKenzie, and Dalia Gheith.
