Black woman holding sign saying Keep abortion safe, legal and accessible in from of a government building with a cop standing in the background

Tuesday, March 12, 2019, 3:30 – 4:30 PM.
The fifth and final hearing for the six-week abortion ban will be held on Tuesday in the South Hearing Room of the Ohio Statehouse. Testimony will not be accepted during this hearing. We need you to join us to show your state senators that you oppose this horrible abortion ban.  This is a free public hearing. Best parking option: https://goo.gl/maps/U4HueeAxiJt Building entrances have metal detectors and x-ray for bags. Signs are not permitted inside the Statehouse.  Once a woman has made the decision to end a pregnancy, she needs access to safe, legal abortion care in her community. This bill would effectively outlaw abortion and criminalize physicians. Over twenty-thousand people choose to have an abortion in Ohio each year, and seven in ten Americans support legal access to abortion care. Banning women from getting a medical procedure is dangerous and out of touch with Ohio values.  Location:  Ohio Statehouse, 1 Capitol Square, Columbus.  Facebook.
