GET FIRED UP! We're rallying the 12th district to defend the ACA and fight gerrymandering. We've heard stories from people affected by the ACA and will now learn about the GOP bill to destroy healthcare. A speaker from the Fair Districts = Fair Elections Coalition will tell us about upcoming efforts to fight gerrymandering in Ohio. The aim of this monthly reading group is to prevent interpersonal violence (IPV) by providing holistic political education. We use a Black feminist perspective to explore community-based interventions to IPV that do not rely on the police or governmental institutions.
