A little background: Plate of the Union is collaborative initiative by the HEAL Food Alliance, Food Policy Action Education Fund, and Union of Concerned Scientists. The purpose of the campaign is to unite and amplify the voices of Americans who care about food and farm systems so that our presidential candidates understand the need for food and farm system reform and take steps to achieve that reform.
