From the National Immigration Law Center. The rumors remain strong: President Trump may cancel the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program any day now.  The number of lives and families left waiting in limbo is staggering. If DACA is rescinded, nearly 800,000 young people would face the prospect of losing their ability to work and be at risk for deportation from the only country they call home.  This would be a colossal loss of opportunity, skills, and talent for our country.  At NILC, we will do everything we can in and outside the courtroom to fight to defend DACA and immigrant youth.  Today, we are asking you to sign our petition to President Trump urging him to remember his promises to Dreamers, saying they have “nothing to worry about.” Sign our petition to President Trump urging him to preserve DACA now.
