Saturday, February 18, 6:30-7:45pm, Nationwide Arena, 200 W. Nationwide Blvd.

Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo is coming back to Columbus on February 18 to exploit animals for “entertainment.” Join us in standing up against cruelty to animals by peacefully protesting outside Nationwide Arena on Saturday, February 18, 6:30-7:45pm. We’ll gather outside at the southeast entrance (the corner of W. Nationwide Blvd. and N. Front St.).

This rodeo includes bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, and barrel racing. The horses, bulls, and steer, often suffer broken ribs, backs, and legs, torn tails, punctured lungs, internal organ damage, ripped tendons, torn ligaments, snapped necks, and agonizing deaths. More information on why rodeos are cruel may be found here.

These animals did not sign up for this; they deserve better.

Feel free to bring your own sign if you would like! We’ll be outside for over an hour so be sure to dress warm.

Hosted by Matt Lobban [a member of Columbus Vegan Meetup].
