Land access is one of the biggest barriers that beginning farmers face. This workshop will help you discover creative and community-oriented solutions to land access. Whether you’ve identified the land you want to farm or are just starting your search, this session will share tools and best practices to help you in the process.

Led by Farmland Specialist Kelly Cabral, this virtual workshop will cover the following topics.

• Land purchases vs. land leases

• Resources for finding land

• Tips for conducting land assessments

• Land financing

• Additional resources to support your on-going learning

This event will be held via Zoom; the registration cost is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.
