Sunday, December 18, 6:30-9pm, Church and Community Development for All People, 946 Parsons Ave.

To cultivate a space of community and joy in these colder months, BQIC will be hosting the Fourth Annual Recognition Night for Trans/Non-Binary/GNC People of Color!

Recognition, visibility, inclusion, and public acceptance of those still living is incredibly important just as is remembrance. To simply exist as a Trans/Nonbinary/GNC person of color is, in and of itself, an act of bravery. It’s crucial to give trans people of color their roses while they are still alive, so we invite you to join us in celebrating trans folks of color here in Central Ohio!

The night will feature performances from local artists, speeches, an award ceremony, and a space for game night at the end. Dinner will be served! Masks are required.

Are you a trans person of color who wants to be honored at the recognition night? Are you also interested in performing? Fill out this form by 11:59pm on Wednesday December 14.

Do you want to nominate yourself or a loved one? Fill out this form by 11:59pm on Wednesday, December 14.

Hosted by BQIC [Black Queer and Intersectional Collective].
