Monday, May 1, beginning at 5am, many locations in central Ohio

Through input from the public, stakeholders, and the COTA Board of Trustees, a redesigned bus network has been developed that will premiere on Monday, May 1. Prior to the implementation of any changes, COTA had sought public input to hear from COTA’s customers.

The redesigned COTA bus network has been designed by allocating 70% of bus service to high-ridership lines and 30% of bus service to coverage lines. Coverage lines are strategic to the region, connecting people to employment and to other major destinations in less dense areas.

Immediately following this change to COTA’s redesigned bus network, COTA’s bus service will be free between May 1 and May 7.
