Rob Jarvis is the definition of spunky. He is fiery, passionate, and a Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress, Ohio District 15, who will speak on Tuesday, March 27, at 7pm, at the monthly meeting of Northwest Area Progressives, at Summit Chase, 1000 Urlin Ave., in Grandview Heights. A question-and-answer will follow. This event is free and open to the public. A social will begin at 6:30pm.

Since we’ll be working to help Jarvis or his primary opponent Rick Neal to unseat incumbent Steve Stivers in November, come and meet him.

Jarvis’s campaign literature says that he has “marched with the Unions, fought for public schools, and helped people struggling through the opioid crisis.” He is a high school government teacher and a former mental health worker. Jarvis has said that he is fighting for single-payer health care, “people over corporations,” and jobs for today and tomorrow.

A brief business meeting will follow the program.
