Monday, February 12, 7-9pm, First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd.
Join more than 250 like-minded individuals in the Columbus area who find that banking on their community helps to save them time and builds a better world! Your time is valuable! Spend it wisely! What is timebanking? Timebanking is a tool by which a group of people can exchange their time and skills rather than acquire goods and services through the use of money. How does it work? Spend an hour doing something for someone, get a time credit, and then use that credit for anything from food preparation to pet care or even transportation for a family member! One hour equals one time credit, no matter the service. There are hundreds of ways to earn and spend time credits! How do I find out more? Check us out on Facebook at “Care and Share Time Bank.” If you join the Time Bank during or soon after the orientation, you will receive a 2-hour credit just for attending; earn more. All are welcome.
