The Central Ohio Folk Festival is a ticketed event ($15 individual, $25 household). Tickets are available at coffest.eventbrite.com.

This event will include lively, talent-filled daytime performers, interactive music workshops, kid’s programming and crafts, and an evening Headliner.

The Saturday evening Headliner will feature international touring Americana duo Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams. In 2008, Larry was awarded the Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award for Instrumentalist and is perhaps best known for being a member of Bob Dylan’s tour band from 1997 to 2004.

Daytime performances include the following: The Wayfarers (old-time), The Relentless Mules (bluegrass), RJ Cowdery (singer-songwriter), Daniel Dye and the Miller Road Band (Americana), Whinestopper (folk), and Starlit Ways (folk/jazz).

Kids’ programming includes Columbus’ favorite, The Shazzbots, as well as additional interactive programming with veteran kids’ musicians and craft sessions.

There will be eight interactive workshops covering everything from guitar, to ukulele, to banjo, to old-time fiddle, to dulcimer.

Festival access is via ticket only.Tickets are $15 / individual or $25 / household and gain access to all festival events, including the Headliner concert.
