Wednesday, April 5, 9am-3pm, Trinity Episcopal Church, 125 E. Broad St., and Ohio Statehouse
Want to learn how laws get passed at the Statehouse, and how you can have more influence in the process?
The legislature is currently considering the state biennium budget and now is the perfect time to meet with your legislators and let them know what you think should be funding priorities.
Innovation Ohio, ProgressOhio and For Ohio’s Future are hosting a statewide Citizen Lobby Day on April 5th to demystify the process and arm advocates and activists with tools and training to be more effective citizen activists.
Participants will meet in the morning Trinity Episcopal Church (across the street from the Statehouse) to receive training and prepare for legislative visits. The afternoon will be spent at the Statehouse attending legislative meetings and sharing your views on what legislators should prioritize in Ohio’s budget.
