The Columbus Coalition for the Homeless will be hosting the 19th Annual Memorial Service to honor individuals who died while experiencing homelessness in 2022. The program will be held on Thursday, December 22, 6-7pm, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 125 E. Broad St.

This year’s program will include music selections, words of reflection, and words of comfort. The Master of Ceremonies for the event will be Marcus Salter, Coalition Board Member.

At the end of the program, the name of each homeless person who has passed will be read and a bell will ring for each name. The program is meant to honor and remember those who have died but also to inspire hope and encouragement for the community to work together in the future to address homelessness and the affordable housing crisis.

The public is invited to attend this program. There is no cost to attend, but donations to help the Columbus Coalition for the Homeless achieve its goals of education, empowerment, and advocacy on behalf of homeless individuals are welcome.

This event will be in-person and also will be streaming online at facebook.com/columbuscoalitionforthehomeless.
