Wednesday, November 14, 7-9pm, Upper Arlington Public Library [Rm. C], 2800 Tremont Rd.

Join Equal UA in promoting an inclusive climate that encourages all people to feel welcome and participate fully within our community.

We will be discussing Secrets under the Parking Lot, which explores part of the history of what is now Upper Arlington. Pleasant Litchford and his family were ex-slaves who settled there in 1832. The family struggled along with other pioneers to establish a home in the Ohio wilderness. Although Pleasant died a wealthy landowner, a millionaire in today’s economy, his legacy was buried.

We will meet at the Upper Arlington Main Library in Rm. C [on the main floor].
