This month’s program: “Reaching Across the Divide: Greens and Libertarians”

Ohio’s two minor parties, the Greens and the Libertarians, will join on Tuesday August 13 at 7:30pm. Don’t miss this exciting event where two very different political groups work together on a democracy problem. How can third-party candidates run in elections to give Ohio citizens more choices?

Michael Sweeney, Libertarian, will speak about his party’s successful efforts to gain ballot access in Ohio. The Libertarians, in the spirit of democratic pluralism, will give advice to the Greens on working through Ohio election laws that are designed to exclude small parties and independents.
