• Kelly Garrett, PhD, OSU Professor of Communications, will talk about his research explaining how misinformation, especially political content, is spread and how we all can be alert to our own vulnerabilities to believing “fake news” and how to avoid further spreading false memes and facts that are not factual.

• Susan Yutzey, PhD, past President of OELMA (Ohio Educational Library Media Association), will take us through some of the practical things that we can do to evaluate information that we encounter on the Internet and on social media.
