From the teachers’ strikes in the spring, to the Chicago hotel workers’ strike, to the outpouring of rage and resistance directed at the confirmation of the rapist Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court, this year has seen an upsurge in working-class consciousness.

We will center the conversation around revolutionary socialism and socialism from below, and apply these perspectives to the lived experiences and material conditions of working-class people in the U.S. and beyond.
