Tuesday, September 26, 5:30-7pm, ACLU of Ohio, 1108 City Park Ave., Ste. 203

Ohio has a policy of removing eligible voters from the registry simply because they are exercising their right not to vote. Our voter purge case will be going all the way to the Supreme Court this fall; our legal team is committed to protecting voting rights for all eligible Ohioans. Naila Awan, a civil and human rights lawyer with Demos [a public policy organization that is “working for an America where we all have an equal say in our democracy and an equal chance in our economy”] and a former ACLU of Ohio attorney, will lead a discussion on the current state of voting rights, the injustices of voter disenfranchisement, and how we can do our part to make sure everyone can access the ballot.

This event is free and open to the public and will be held at the ACLU of Ohio, 1108 City Park Ave., Ste. 203.
