Saturday, April 15, 10am-5pm [registration begins at 9am], OSCEA [Ohio Civil Service Employees Association], 390 Worthington Rd., Westerville, Ohio

RootsCamp Ohio is your chance to learn from your peers across Ohio who are fighting for progressive values while resisting Trump’s hate-filled agenda.

Whether you are a long-term advocate who’s been fighting for clean air, reproductive rights or limiting money in politics or you are newly engaged in local resistance efforts, RootsCamp has something to offer for everyone who is committed to just and fair policies.

There is no set agenda; attendees set the topics throughout the day and you choose what sounds most appealing to you. You may want to come prepared to present your own session on an issue, an action, a best practice, or whatever you think others would enjoy learning.

A keynote address will be provided by Graham West, Truman National Security Project: “Retreating from American Values and Leadership: National Security and Foreign Policy Under the Trump Administration.”

Doors will open at 9am; the opening sessions will begin at 10am. Lunch will be provided. Tickets are free but please consider bringing a donation to help offset the costs of the event.

Donations and sponsorships support ProgressOhio Education, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization.
