Wednesday, April 26, 9am-2:30pm, Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Ave.

Immigrant families in our community are being torn apart by immigration enforcement raids. As a faith community, we are called to walk in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors in this difficult time.

Putting solidarity into action will require new skills and strategic approaches. That is why we are coming together as a faith community to learn and plan how we will support our immigrant brothers and sisters.

We will explore how the faith community is walking in solidarity with immigrant neighbors in other parts of the country, including Sanctuary Churches and Matthew 25 churches, and how those strategies can be applied in our local area.

We will also learn how immigration enforcement is affecting families in Columbus, efforts to respond quickly through the raids response network, and use communications strategies to influence public opinion and policy.

Hosted by Ohio Interfaith Immigrant and Migrant Justice Coalition and three other organizations.
