Tuesday, June 5, 5-8pm, Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Ave.

The Columbus Sanctuary Collective invites organizers, faith communities, activists, faith leaders, organizations, and individuals to a convening around the growing sanctuary movement in Ohio. Learning from our experience with Solidarity with Edith Espinal, we will gather to share what we have learned and how to continue and grow Sanctuary as Resistance.

Calling questions:

• What does sanctuary community look and feel like?

• What is sanctuary? What is the concept? How is it real in my community?

• How do we win? How do we celebrate and escalate?

• What can I do?

• What are we up against?

• How does a secular person become involved with a sanctuary church?

• What is my responsibility as a person of faith?

Hosted by Solidarity with Edith Espinal and Columbus Sanctuary Collective / Colectivo Santuario de Columbus.
