Region 5 of SPAN Ohio will meet on Tuesday, December 5, 7-8:30pm., at the Northside Branch Library, 1423 N. High St., in Meeting Room C.

There is plenty of parking; this location is on the #2 COTA bus line [and also on the #1 bus line]. This branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library is a brand-new facility.

Deborah Miller, Executive Director of the Ohio Association of Free Clinics, will talk about the mission and the current direction of Free Clinics in Ohio; a question-and-answer period will follow.

We will then have a business-and-strategy meeting. Topics will include the following.

• A fundraising concert at First Unitarian Universalist Church on Friday, March 23

• The introduction of the Health Care for All Ohioans Act in the House and our continuing efforts to promote its movement there and in the Ohio Senate

• Efforts in the Region beyond Franklin County

• Other suggested topics
