Saturday, September 2, 7pm, Hitchcock Hall, 2070 Neil Ave.
Columbus provides security, safety, and opportunity to many of its residents — but not to all. There is a clear pattern in Columbus, in Ohio, and across the country, of unjustifiable violence and killing of young black men. We need accountability and we need a new direction.
You’re invited to join Yes We Can Columbus on Saturday September 2 at 7pm for a discussion about police brutality in Columbus as well as about what we as residents can do to stop the violence and the importance that local elections play in police reform.
Speakers include Shaun King, former State Senator Nina Turner, local activist Adrienne Hood, and Yes We Can endorsed candidates Jasmine Ayres and Erin Upchurch. The discussion will take place at Hitchcock Hall, 2070 Neil Ave., on the OSU campus.
There are fewer than 100 seats left, so RSVP today to get your ticket!
We hope to see you there!
