The Lincoln Theatre will present standout local performers and engaging discussion in three of the theatre’s ongoing series -- Backstage at the Lincoln, Club Lincoln, and Community Conversations.

Community Conversations
The Lincoln’s Community Conversations series is designed to generate local and global discussion on a variety of interesting questions surrounding the arts. Admission is free.

Maya Angelou, Lorraine Hansberry, Abbey Lincoln, and Nina Simone are icons of African American artistic achievement, activism, courage, and vision. Come and journey with the Lincoln as we explore their history and passions, while discussing what is the community's responsibility to uphold and advance their activism.
Backstage at the Lincoln
The Backstage at the Lincoln concert series offers an extraordinary opportunity to be seated on stage for a performance with your favorite local artists. Set against the hand-painted grandeur of the Lincoln’s Egyptian Revival-style motif, enjoy an exceptionally intimate concert from a perspective normally seen only by the artists themselves.
All shows start at 7 pm. Tickets are $27.62.

This concert is an intimate journey of self-discovery and artistry. Banks blends original music with songs that have inspired him, weaving together elements of jazz, contemporary, and inspirational music. Through this performance, Banks explores themes of overcoming insecurities and facing fears, offering a heartfelt and transformative experience.

The show will take the audience on a journey through the different stages of growth, self-discovery, and empowerment, reflecting Chrissy T’s artistic journey and personal evolution. Each component of the experience will represent a phase of transformation: Caterpillar (Beginnings), Chrysalis (Challenges & Growth), and Butterfly (Rebirth & Flourishing).
Club Lincoln
Club Lincoln shows are held in the theatre’s second floor ballroom performance space, offering an organic and intimate experience for audiences.

Rhythm & Revelry
Saturday, March 22, 6 pm
Join us for a night of great music with DJs, including Columbus’ Dommy “Huge Deal” Styles and Dayton’s LILRATCHET$OUL, spinning the best tracks. The event starts with a Happy Hour from 5 to 6 pm. DJ set continues to midnight.

About the Lincoln Theatre
First opened in 1928, the Lincoln Theatre is a landmark in African American and jazz history. After undergoing a $13.5 million renovation funded by a partnership of public and private support, the Lincoln reopened in May 2009 as a multi-use, state-of-the-art performing arts and education center serving the diversity of the central Ohio community. The Lincoln is a bustling hub of activity 365 days a year hosting performances, rehearsals, and classes in the performing arts, as well as a wide variety of community events such as film festivals, meetings, and receptions.
