We start at 6pm instead of 6:30pm. If you haven’t been to Local Matters’ office in a beautiful historic mansion on E. Broad St. you are in for a treat. You probably know Local Matters for their awesome work transforming the local food infrastructure and their pioneering work with community gardens. You may be surprised to learn what they are doing in schools, about their Growing Matters programs and their new initiative: Wellness Matters! Many of us know Michael Jones, the founder, but tonight we will meet the new Executive Director, Michelle Moskowitz Brown. She’s terrific, and she has promised awesome snacks!
