Wednesday, March 30, 6:30-8pm, Stonewall Columbus, 1160 N. High St.

Franklin County is currently facing a serious influx of children entering the system because of abuse, abandonment or neglect. Unfortunately, many of our youth are lingering in shelters and group homes because there is a lack of quality, loving caregivers. Come and learn more about the many benefits of becoming a foster parent or a mentor and hear how you or someone you know can help a child in need.

We welcome guest speaker Candelaria [Candy] Mota, who represents the National Youth Advocate Program [NYAP] and is currently the Assistant Director of the Center for Adolescents and Families. Candy has nearly 12 years of child welfare experience.
