Seven transgender women of color have been murdered during the first two months of 2017: Mesha Caldwell, Jamie Lee Wounded Arrow, Jojo Striker, Jaquarrius Holland, Keke Collier, Ciara McElveen and Chyna Gibson.

We must stand in solidarity with black and brown trans women and demand their protection. Standing on the sidelines while trans women are being attacked daily, through legislation and physical violence, is indeed an act of violence itself. Join us on Sunday, March 12 as we rally at the Statehouse to mourn the trans women of color we’ve lost and demand their protection.
