All across the country, Marches for Truth - peaceful demonstrations focused on demanding the truth - will be arranged on Saturday, June 3rd. This event will be a rally supporting the March for Truth movement. Our goals are simple:

1. Congressional investigations should be properly resourced and pursued free of partisan interests, and/or an independent investigation must be established.
2. As much information should be made available to the public as possible, and as soon as possible.
3. If crimes were committed or if collusion is discovered, it must be prosecuted.
4. The President must be held accontable for the untruths he is perpetrating.
5. All politicians and other public figures should take the Pro-Truth Pledge, a behavioral science-based tool to reverse the tide of lies in our political system: https://www.protruthpledge.org/ The Pro-Truth pledge changes the incentives for politicians and other public figures, encouraging truth-telling instead of lying. We as ordinary citizens should all take the pledge as well to encourage public figures to do so.

We want to make this event a positive affirmation of the importance of truth in politics. Here are the three types of signs that are especially welcomed:
1) Calls for politicians to value the truth over anything else
2) Calls for an independent investigation led by a special prosecutor into the truth about Russia's interference into the election
3) Call for politicians and other public figures to take the Pro-Truth Pledge

10:00 - 10:10: Gathering at Supreme Court, arrangement of tables and other materials

11:45 - 12:10: Interactive activity with signing cards to Senator Rob Portman asking him to call for an independent commission and prosecutions are brought and asking him to take the Pro-Truth Pledge, and taking photographs for social media with truth-oriented signs, and signing poster boards
12:10 - 12:30: March from Supreme Court around Statehouse and to Portman's office. Vocal Resistance choir will sing while walking and perform a final set in front of Portman's office. Photo op for all in front of Portman's office with cards and poster boards and signs.

Speakers: 
1) Andrea Yagoda is a retired attorney who has been investigating the details of the Russia-Trump connections, and will speak about them, outlining all the current information available on this topic. 

2) Agnes Vishnevkin is the co-founder of the nonprofit organization Intentional Insights, dedicated to promoting truth and rational thinking in politics and other areas of life, which is managing the Pro-Truth Pledge project. She will speak on how the Pro-Truth Pledge would help reshape our public sphere to get all public figures to orient toward the truth, preventing such incidents as the corruption of our political system by Russian interference in the future.

3) Dr. Gleb Tsipursky is a professor at The Ohio State University and author of the forthcoming "The Alternative to Alternative Facts: Fighting Post-Truth Politics with Behavioral Science." He will speak about the broader international context of Russian manipulation of democratic elections, the dangers to American democracy of lies and deceptions, and how the Pro-Truth Pledge can address these problems.
