Sunday, October 8, 1pm; Goodale Park, 120 W. Goodale St.; to Columbus Italian Festival, 720 Hamlet St.
The Columbus Day Italian Parade and High School Marching Band Competition, with an authentic Italian flair, will march through the Short North to the Italian Festival, celebrating “all things Columbus” and “all things Italian.” Grand Marshal Derek Grosso, CEO and founder of Columbus Young Professionals [CYP] Club, will lead the Columbus Day Italian Parade. There will be exotic American and Italian cars, parade sponsors, and high school marching bands competing for “best in show.” This family-friendly parade will be free to attend and is being sponsored by the Columbus Piave Club.

Parade route: from Dennison Ave. [near Goodale Park], east on Buttles Ave., north on N. High St. [passing the band stationary performance spot], east on Warren Ave., to the end of the parade at N. Fourth St. at the Columbus Italian Festival.
