Although most applications are closed now (performer applications closed March 1 and Street Fair applications closed on April 20) there is still time to apply for workshops, art installations in the park, and speaker spots. Go to comfest.com to submit applications—but don’t delay! All applications will be closed soon.
ComFest is a carefully planned event from its Street Fair to stage acts and beyond. Festival organizers work throughout the year on logistics and scheduling to keep the public safe, protect the park, and obey all city requirements. Applications must be filed for all performances, workshops, speakers, and special events within the park during the weekend, and no new proposals other than applications submitted on time per the website will be considered after April 1.
ComFest is more fun when you volunteer! Volunteers are signing up in record numbers this year, but the festival needs lots of help from set up to tear down. Go to the website (comfest.com) and select the area you want to work. Safety, Clean Up & Recycling, and final tear down are special needs. Night shifts are especially critical. First Aid needs people with medical training. Join the fun! Become part of the ComFest Family. Give four hours, earn a volunteer tee shirt and tokens for food or drink, and make new friends. Just do it!
ComFest continues to grow and find ways to serve Columbus and Central Ohio. The organization seeks new volunteers interested in progressive democracy that inspires and informs the community and builds a better world for everyone.
