We've already seen the power of activists mobilizing in the halls of Congress to change the future of climate politics and make the Green New Deal a possibility. Let’s keep it up.  That's why on Thursday, February 7, we're joining a national day of action and bringing the call for real climate leadership to Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown's doorstep. We will ramp up our call for a Green New Deal by publicly calling on our elected leaders to commit to a just and equitable transition to a world free from fossil fuels, support green jobs, reject fossil fuel money, and endorse a Green New Deal.  At 3 p.m. we will gather in front of the John W. Bricker Federal Building at 200 N. High St. in Columbus. We will hear from local climate justice leaders, then take the elevator to the sixth floor to visit Sen. Sherrod Brown's office in Room 614. There we will deliver thousands of petitions calling on Sen. Brown to step up and become the climate champion we need by supporting the Green New Deal.
