The purpose of the National African American Male Wellness Walk/Run Initiative is to begin the process of helping men to understand that, through prevention, one can live longer. This event allows men and their families across the country to obtain free health screenings and to raise awareness about living a healthier lifestyle.
The National African American Male Wellness Walk Initiative is the largest health initiative for African Americans and other minorities in the state of Ohio.
