Wednesday, February 5, 6-7:30pm, Bexley Public Library, 2411 E. Main St.
We’re all hearing a lot about human trafficking, but is it really happening here? How can we protect ourselves and children from being at risk, and what can we do to help change the tide of this troubling trend? Join us on February 5 for an interactive discussion with Theresa Flores (human trafficking survivor and author of The Slave Across the Street) who will discuss what human trafficking is, how and why it happens, and how we can identify and help its victims.
Freedom a la Cart will be providing refreshments!
