The Ohio State Knowlton Alumni Society and Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission [MORPC] are co-sponsoring a three-Friday seminar, running from 9am to 12noon on April 3, 10, and 17, on the role that design can play in addressing the need for affordable housing in Central Ohio. Participants will become well-versed in the issues, other community responses, and will undertake team-based hands-on exercises to generate innovate concepts to address this challenge.

Note: this academy is tailored to professionals in design-related fields, such as architecture and planning, and will include a design challenge which might be advanced for folks in other fields. However, anyone with an interest in the topic is strongly encouraged to apply. All applications will be considered.

Registration cost: $120, which covers the costs of the program and supports the Knowlton Alumni Society’s scholarship fund.

Applications will be available online, beginning March 2, and must be received by March 30.

Hosted by Ohio State Knowlton Alumni Society and Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC).
