Sunday, May 31, 2-5pm, Summit on 16th United Methodist Church, 82 E. 16th Ave.; and then outside of the temporary overflow shelter at the YMCA, 40 W. Long St.
This is our monthly recurring event that takes place the last Sunday of every month!
Due to physical/social distancing, we are asking folks prepare at home and drop off “potluck” style versus cooking together. Thus, this, too, will be a “cook/bake at home” and then drop off at 82 E. 16th Ave. From there, a small team will do final preparation and assembly before heading to the overflow shelter at 40 W. Long St.
Schedule
Friday and Saturday:
Cook/bake/prep your food at your home
Pick up items from Food Not Bombs storage if needed
Sunday:
2pm: drop off at 82 E. 16th Ave. with respected prepared foods
3pm: select persons will prepare items
3:30pm: Head to the shelter; same team will prepare stations and “to go” boxes for residents at the overflow shelter at the YMCA at 40 W. Long St.
4pm: resident arrival
5pm: head back to 82 E. 16th Ave. and break down
