Tuesday, May 19, 3:30-4pm, this on-line event requires advance registration
As many of us are cheering the incredible heroism and sacrifice of health care providers and other essential workers during this pandemic, abortion health care providers and staff are met with condemning protests and legislative bans. The essential health care that many pregnant persons need because of the variety of life circumstances often exacerbated by the pandemic make access to abortion care even more critical.
Instead, they are often faced with the need to travel great distances, at great cost, at great risk. This is an unfair and imbalanced health care system.
Clergy of various faith traditions from across the country will join together on Tuesday, May 19 in a virtual gathering (exclusively for abortion health care providers and staff) to affirm and bless reproductive care.
Please join us on Tuesday, May 19 at 3:30pm [Eastern Time], for a follow-up, public, “Facebook Live” event! We will be sharing why this blessing is so critical in these times, uplifting the need for abortion care access and sharing personal stories of pregnant individuals seeking abortion care.
Please RSVP [on Facebook] to let us know if you plan to gather with us. We hope to see you there!
Hosted by Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, Ohio Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, Indiana Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice [IRCRC], NM [New Mexico] Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, Just Texas, and Lexington [Kentucky] Chapter Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.
