Wednesday, July 8, 6-7:30pm, this event will be live-streamed on “Facebook Live”
Tune in on Facebook Live to view this Equitas Health Prevention panel discussion and to hear from individuals across Ohio who will share expert opinions on how to protest with a purpose! This conversation will include multiple perspectives on the Black Lives Matter movements, as well as information regarding policy change, COVID-19, and religion.
Panelists include:
• Jared Grandy, the former community-police relations coordinator for the Dayton Police Department who resigned last month in protest of the DPD’s unwillingness to commit to real reform. Read more in Most Metro.
• Rev. Mila P. Cooper, Associate Pastor of Wayman A.M.E. Church in Dayton, Vice President for Student Affairs and Senior Diversity Officer at Antioch College, and Executive Director of the Coretta Scott King Center. Rev. Cooper is committed to community outreach, advocacy, and social justice; she approaches her work through the intersections of faith and justice.
