What is gender affirming care? What are the barriers? What should a young person expect/ask of their healthcare provider? What can you do if you’re under 18 and want to seek out affirming healthcare? What impact would potential legislation — “trans healthcare bans” — have for the community?

We’re about to answer these questions and so much more!

In partnership with Equitas Health, the Kaleidoscope Youth Center’s QPOC (Queer People of Color) group presents:

“Affirming Healthcare in the LGBTQ+ Youth and Young Adult Community,” a free panel conversation discussing experiences in healthcare through a “service provider and youth” lens.
