Tuesday, July 6, 6-8pm, this event will be on-line

Learn more about the candidates who are running for the office of Congressional Representative for Ohio’s 15th Congressional District. A special primary election has been scheduled for August 3 to select one Republican and one Democrat to run against each other in November 2021.

The League of Women Voters is hosting a virtual candidate event so that voters will be able to get to know the candidates and their stances on important issues. Candidates currently scheduled to participate are Greg Betts (D), Allison Russo (D), Eric Clark (R), Thad Cooperrider (R), Thomas Hwang (R), and Omar Tarazi (R).

This event will be streamed live through the City of Athens website and TV channel and the League of Women Voters of Athens County Facebook page; the recording will be forwarded to multiple organizations for future viewing by the constituents of the 15th Congressional District.
