Thursday, March 10, 6-7pm, this on-line event requires advance registration

Ohio has seen a recent surge in both horrific gun violence as well as dangerous laws that will strip Ohio residents’ ability to stay safe from gun violence. For example, last year, Ohio’s House passed a bill that would make it easier for teachers to go to work armed. This is an inappropriate solution to the issue of gun violence in schools; we plan on working on common-sense solutions that will keep our students safe.

Join us on Thursday, March 10, at 6pm, for a virtual recruitment event to learn more about the work that we are doing in the state and how we would like to grow to ensure that in 2022 and beyond we are a true force for change and safety. Hear from our amazing state leaders as well as State Representative Latyna M. Humphrey to learn about volunteer positions and their importance both statewide and federally, to advocate for a safer community. This will be crucial to see the great work that has already been done by the team but also how we want to grow and improve our work going forward to keep Ohio safe!
